Burning thighs, bugs in the eyes
WE solve nothing even though we talk the whole way.
We ride for the burn, the speed, and the moment when the legs finally stop arguing. The miles roll by in a nonstop stream of jokes, questionable observations, and commentary that makes the climbs feel shorter and the flats feel faster. Some days it’s smooth and flying. Other days it’s headwinds, grit, and bugs aiming directly for your eyes. Either way, you finish tired, laughing, and already planning the next ride.

Quiet group reflection. Widespread snickering. Tools, parts and knowhow appear and the ride resumes.
We’re open minded, but awareness and consent should be respected.
Flatter on the map than it feels in real life.
Not competitive at all unless you accidentally pass someone.
You can. Whether you should is a matter of public decency, a concern for others and the warping of the minds of youth who may see you.
