What if you could order up a few dozen new friends?

Find them at the Cleveland Fagowees Ski Club, the best club ever! Most of us have plenty of “friends” on our phones — but not enough people who’ll actually show up to ski, paddle, ride, or grab a beer after a long day outside. Fagowees is a grab-bag of people who say yes to doing things, show up even when it’s a hassle, and laugh hard when plans go a little sideways. No tryouts, no cliques, no pressure to be elite — just a standing invitation to get outside, push a bit, and have a ridiculous amount of fun with people who don’t take themselves too seriously. Side effects include sore legs, inside jokes and an oddly busy social life.

Fagowee-What??

I know, I know. Weird name! It stands for Fun And Games On Weekends Especially Skiing. And that is pretty much what we do. Other than some kayaking weeknights, and Euchre games when we can’t ski. And some epic ski trips that are much longer than a weekend.

what Does the Cleveland Fagowees Ski Club do?

Skiing, kayaking, golf, cycling, games, road trips, pub nights, and whatever seemed like a good idea at the time. In the winter we ski race against lessor ski clubs that are part of the Cleveland Metro Ski Council. Our winning bravado may not necessarily be reflected in our race standings.

Where do we meet?

Ideally we meet in deep champagne powder, a twisty bike path, or a winding river.
But we do have actual meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7:30 PM located at:
